Thanks for the tip. I think I will stick with Advanced Config, unless there is some advantage to TF3D. (Is there?)
(By the way, a shout-out to all the PPCGeek's in this thread who help the noob/lurker/brainfried; this is by far more helpful and "user friendly") than any site (including the awesome xda-developers).
