1. Tried to go through the sprint website for advanced replacement. The website offered me a UTStarcom 6800. That wasn't good enough for me. I cancelled the request.
2. Called *2 and hit 0,0 to talk to a human. Explained that my mogul was locking up and my business prevented me from going to the repair center (which it does). She forwards me to Asurion.
3. I told the dude at Asurion that I hated my mogul and I had read on the internet that a lot of people had similar problems but were happier with the HTC touch pro. I asked if he could replace my Mogul and he said yes. My Touch Pro goes out in the mail tomorrow.
4. He had to put $50 (deductable) on my sprint bill (which is acceptable for a phone that costs $700)... but I'm planning on calling Sprint when I get the bill and asking them to credit me the $50. Usually they will to keep you happy.
So... thanks guys for this thread- I'm very happy to be chucking my mogul back to Sprint... let's hope the TP is faster/better.

did you have the protection plan on the phone to do this?
