Re: Is this phone worth buying for $299? (I have a mogul)

FYI, if your Mogul is truly defective, you can always go to the sprint automatic phone replacement website. Since you don't have TEP, it would cost 55 dollars, but Sprint is currently replacing broken Moguls with new in-box Touch Pros.

Make sure your phone is really broken before you do this though, because they will charge a hefty amount of cash (plus the 55 fee you pay since you dont have TEP), but you would have a fully working TP.

edit: I recommend you make sure that the replacement model is a Touch Pro, or a PPC8500. Sometimes they have Moguls in stock and replace with those, but everyone I spoke to says you should try again in 10-20 min, and you will often get a TP again.

I reupped for 2 more years in December and bought my Touch Pro for 299.99, if only I had waited for a month, I would have gotten it for free with TEP. Especially since my Mogul had a ton of hardware errors. I just wanted a new phone and not to mess with a mogul refurb.
