Because i done about 5 soft resets and ringer stays the same "birds2" and no error message, not one on 4.3. Are you doing any restores from backup programs?
Basically, I'm noticing that I'm frequently missing calls. When I soft reset, the ringer is changed to the Windows Mobile default. I don't get any error messages, but I'm speculating that the ringtone revert problem and the missed call problem are somehow related to a ringtone being seen as "corrupted" and WinMo bails out to it's default upon reset.

The only third-party program I have installed is Garmin XT, and the only backup I restore is PIM Backup with my call logs and text messages. I have nothing else installed. I'm using Ring-Generic3, and I've flashed a stock ROM before flashing Mike's 4.3, with an additional hard reset in afterwards.
