Hmm, I've made the changes and I have the same settings that you do, but still no seeing no GPS satellites in google maps. I used a reg editor, changed it, and rebooted. Didn't work, so I went back in with gpsOne, rebooted, and no satellites.
When I look at my phone with QPST the port is COM 6, while in the first post (and in the phone's default GPS setting) the port is COM 4. Could that have something to do with it? I changed my GPS settings to use COM 6 but nothing found so far.

Wow, this is ridiculous. I was trying to find a way to get quickGPS back onto my phone (it royally screwed up when trying to install another quickGPS program and wouldn't work anymore) and I found this little gem:

I was getting this problem and found this solution not 3hrs ago.
Windows was blocking it from downloading.

I changed that, put the gps port back to COM 4, and tried google maps and within seconds it put a dot on my location. Awesome! However, now it repeatedly says "Seeking GPS satellites (0)..." while the blinking blue dot hovers over my current, exact location. Any idea why?

And, why we're at it, anyone have a link to a Diamond specific quickGPS? I tried one I found on xda (guess) and it screwed up the one I had on my phone. I was trying to reconfigure it so that it would download, but whatever I downloaded per the guide I was following was not right.
