Doubt is unlocked the GPS also but here is something to read about that.
Be careful about upgrading the ROMs and MR1/MR2 because alot of people got screwed by something like this some time back when an upgrade was out. Everyone wanted to be the first to try it and found it killed thier GPS. Then everyone was crying about it (rightfully so) and eventually it was hacked but it did take a while.
