Fair enough, I never used the search in that manner. I always click current GPS so the software knows where I am. I can also select a point on the map close to a location and search for BBQ restaurants and that will bring up stuff around the point on the map...

I did Barbecue Restaurants, Layton, UT and that worked well for finding everything around me. However I did the same but replaced Layton with Reseda and it didn't find anything. So I tried again but replaced Reseda with Orange County and again it worked. Maybe Reseda just isn't in the database of the new version?
