Yes...
You can minimize by rebooting your phone daily... Mine does a daily backup to the storage card (of the main memory) every day at 4am and reboots afterwards... About the only time I have lookups now is on a webpage that is too big, or when turning on/off functions on comm manager screen... (I think the radio design is flaky on the 6700)
