So I have tried GPS Cycle Computer and it pretty much does what I was hoping for.... On the XDA forum, there are some screen shots of a skin that looks even better.. but I haven't gotten far enough to figure our how to update to a new skin...

Works better than I had hoped in some regards... I like that it saves a klm file that will pull up on google maps... very nice..

I did notice that I couldn't see the display very well in daylight...wish it had a feature to keep it on bright the whole time.. (i know I can adjust that each time in settings... but a PITA) ... and a display that had FF and Pause for a music player would be awesome... but I think I am dreaming to much to ask for that..

On a side note.. the Touch Diamond fits near perfectly in the Belkin Arm Band holder for the Iphone... which can be found on ebay for around $10... Now I just need better headphones or some Bluetooth headsets that can work with a helmet.. (got the plantronic 590's and LOVE them...but they don't work with a helmet)
