Well this is weird. I tried it both ways and the dates sync and appear in both calenders. Then again I'm currently using WMDC and Vista. I also checked the MS website and cannot find Error Code 1.

The last time I had a problem with activsync I had to remove it from the pc and reinstall. Backup your data before trying this.
