I have tried it and it might be faster than waiting on hold for a sprint rep.

I already have my MSL, but wanted to try this method. Downloaded the app, put it on my storage card, put in my ESN HEX and it did work. It gave me the exact same MSL that Sprint gave me during activation. Thanks for the link.
