Ok as long as the phone says usb bottom middle. Ignore the activesync prompts. Just keep pressing next or continue it will see the phone and start the update. I never have taken an up and running phone and connected it to activesync BEFORE I RAN THE RUU. it's always been tri color bar on phone plug it in to pc. Run the rom update utility. next,next,next,next see's the rom ver. , next ,next ,flash ,flash ,flash!!! DONE!!
