So your saying there IS some type of hardware restriction? the freq. cannot be changed at all correct? I have a Large digital tuner at home that picks up 100mhz to something like 900,000mhz.. all tv, radio, aircraft, HAM, shortwave, etc. But it cannot transmit. I thought the phone could possibly be "tuned" too.. must have freq. specific crystals or the like i assume.. Prob why my Digital tuner is the size of a VCR. thanks for confirming this tho.
