Being a lawyer has nothing to do with it.
I am not a lawyer, but I have sued a lawyer and won.
We vividly disagreed on the facts.
We took it to court, and I won.
The moral of the story is for you to do your own due diligence.
You are not supposed to be ignorant of the law.
In fact, you are supposed to educate yourself on the law.
