I am having the same problem. I changed path in registry and also in advanced config and still nothing. I took the serious.wav that was previously posted, renamed it to PhoneOn.wav and I get no startup sound. I also tried leaving the serious.wav named as it was and in registry, pointed to serious.wav in Windows directory and got no sound. I'm on Sprint ROM. Any suggestions?
