I am having a different issue with my VX6700... I boot, and make it to the Today screen, then I get the warning that my battery is low. The 6700 screen darkens as if there is no power plugged in, and it seems like the device is going to die. If you s2u and unlock the screen, the battery shows that it is charging, then a couple of minutes it shows up as fully charged.
I am almost ready to reload a new ROM (I am still holding out with 20755), but I keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best... Thank goodness for PimBackup and SPB Backup...
