I don't get it... I just did more research and everywhere says that LCD's are immune to magnetic interference. But in the case of the iTouch and iPhone, people are getting distortion from having magnets near the devices.
There's some sort of interference that the type of screens mobile devices have are vulnerable to. Because rare-earth magnets have absolutely no effect on my LCD or phone. [I don't want to keep it there for too long, though.]
