If you get errors regarding an incompatible OS, right click on the installer -> properties and go to the compatibility tab and enable it. It should allow the drivers to install afterwards. |
This is exactly it, I'm using my laptop that i got about 5 yrs ago came with XP, and for a couple drivers off the restore disk I have to do this. Wireless wasn't automatic, but after a I searched for it under device manager all was good.
