Re: 1/9/09 Conflippers Alltel Touch Pro ROM (5.2.20759 Build 20759) UC

I hope you are doing well. A couple of updates since i flashed your 1-09 version.

1) This opera build is growing on me. After it takes its initial chunk of memory, at least it doesn't continue building on it every time Opera is opened, so that's beneficial. It's not hanging as bad either. In fact, since the first day of flashing, i haven't had a "hang up" with it.

2) The data running is weird. I know you said it's because of the "slide" function, but i can turn Active Sync to manual, shut off my data, and it will restart itself. It does it constantly throughout the day. I check on this alot as i "LOVE" the "hold the end button to disable data" function, but i know it didn't do this in previous builds of yours.

3) I could be wrong, but i thought i remember in the stock ROM if i turned my active sync to manual, and would hit "send/receive" from the inbox, it would "sync" the device. If you open up active sync it says it syncd, but it only truly syncs calendar and contacts (from exchange) when it's either on a schedule or manually done in the active sync program. I was thinking the send/receive function used to do that as well.

just a few things. GREAT ROM. very fast. Not sure about battery since my data won't stay off, but still very, very stable. VERY NICE!
