When I watch TV or do VOIP calls, the rear speaker sounds like from distant because it is not toward my face. Attach such a little piece of plastic with a removable double-side tape, now the sound is reflected right into my ears. Much more articulate! I used this trick with my Casio pocket TV that also had such a top-mounted speaker and got great improvement. This time the effect is great too. Try it with a piece of paper first to hear the difference, you'll love it and wonder why HTC did not add such a reflector in the first place. I used this red paper clip I have around, you can make it much better looking.
