Hopefully something is just misconfigured on your wifi router. Maybe you're enforcing MAC address filtering or don't have wireless B or G enabled, or maybe you don't have an SSID or using some hidden mode?
Anyway, you'll definitely be able to rule that out at school.
The reason why I asked if you were sure you were using the unlocker is because on the official site, the two links are right next to each other. Were you running it from the device itself, not from a memory card?
I guess I'm stumped. Although, I do remember that it didn't reboot, as the instructions said, when I used it. I also had to do the part in step 7 where it says to go back to step 1 and try again.
