I had Build date of 11/07/08. Purchased at BestBuy on Dec19th.
I had phone run warm to hot.
I had mushy keyboard.
Cosmetically perfect until chrome started chipping for no reason.

I brought tback to BestBuy yesterday and told them overheating all the time.
I made shure it was warm from using Sprint Navigation while plugged into car charger.
Phone personel showed to person in charge. He felt it in his hand and said "give him new one".
My new Build date is 11/26/08.
keyboard is clicks better, no mushy space bar, screen more responsive, unit is not getting hot on car charger even with low battery.
All better except very, very slightly raised area near "home" button.
I only mention because others hav but it is really nothing so I am happy.

EDIT: Typo, my new Build date was 11/26/08, not 27th
