that hurts my brain all the steps.

step 1 copy pim.vol to sd card no need to rename
step 2 hard reset
step 3 rename the pim.vol file to anything else I usualy do something liek fsldj
step 4 copy pim from sd
step 5 soft reset.

though I really like using ppcpimbackup now I just leave teh exe on my sd card and the backups there too.
