Technically, you can get it to fit, but you have to use extreme force. The Diamond is too thick for the clip to reach the top edge, so it doesn't actually fully clip in either. The force required to "clip" this thing in would easily scrape the paint off the back cover after a few times, if not break it.

It wasn't until after I bought it that I saw the references to the iPhone in the description, but an iPhone would not fit at all in the mount that I received, so there must be different sizes of this same mount floating around out there, and this seller figured this particular one would fit the Diamond when it doesn't. Oh well, I needed the car charger anyways.

Other than that, I haven't found any mounts other than the clamp type either.

I have the same type -- pop off the battery cover, and it fits reasonably well.
