I just received an HP Pavilion DV6810 Laptop and would like to use my Sprint Touch Diamond to access the web via my Laptop. I am new to this stuff and need some advice. Would I be better off purchasing the wireless wifi router program as is being discussed in this thread to make my Diamond a wifi hotspot or should I purchase the PdaNet software? Are there any advantages of one over the other?Btw, my Laptop is equipped for wifi and bluetooth. Thanks for any advice and if anyone needs anymore info regarding my issue, let me know. Thanks. EDIT: I just tethered my Diamond to my laptop by enabling internet sharing on my Diamond. The laptop recognized the Diaqmond via the usb port. I am not using PdaNET or the wireless router. I do have an unlimited data plan. Am i going to have an issue regarding tethering my Diamond without a PAM service? Thanks for any advice.
