Re: JetCet Printer

Whooo Hoooo! It's works!!!!!!
Just installed my Canon i960 which is hooked up by usb to my desktop at home, shared across the network

I had to go through the setup and add the printer, in my case it would not find it automatically, so I ended using the path (for my computer and network ) \\family\desktop printer

You'll need to find your own path.....

Which I found by (on my desktop connect to the printer I want to print on)
1. going to my network places
2. clicking on enter network
3. Clicking on the icon "microsoft windows network"
4. then it displayed my network, aptly named "Mshome"
5. click on mshome
6. Click on the correct computer that has your usb printer ****see note #1****
7. You should then see you printer as an icon (in my case I had 3 because of microsoft office, but you need to find the one that is you actual printer0) ****See note #2****

Now you have everything you need and for the adderess.

Note 1 the name of the computer is the first part of the adderess
Note The exact name of the printer icon is the second part of the adderess

\\(computer name)\(printer name) No parentheses

again in my case it was \\family\desktop printer

8. It now asked me the
*network log in id
*password
*domain name
9. Filled in the info and hit print, BAM! test page works!

Please if this helped you hit thanks!!!!!!
