I exchanged my phone at BB because of EXTREME battery overheating and freezing. I don't remember the build date on it. The build date on the one I have now says 11/29/2008 (unless I'm looking at the wrong information) but I'm assuming they were probably the exact same since I did the exchange within a week and the Pro isn't as popular in the area I did the exchange. I haven't noticed the overheating issue as quickly as I did on the previous. Can't say anything about the RAM though.

Do I need to return the phone to Best Buy? Or should I be able to successfully argue my case with one of the Sprint Store reps?
They'll probably argue that you are outside of your exchange date, unless you have some type of warranty with BB. They will probably point you to the Sprint Store. Best bet would be to argue your case with the Sprint Store reps.
