Ya I was seeing those id tags on the weather too which is why I switched to a different OEM for manila... I tried both the generic and the vzw one before I finally used one from the ppckitchen.

It could be the version of manila you're using. I use the generic version, and when I finger swipe on the today tab it hides the clock and shows everything. HTC Task Manager also works fine. Be a little more specific and I'll try to figure it out.
I saw this behavior on the manila OEMs from your kitchen and from the one I cooked from ppckitchen... I was referring to the "quick menu" option from the today screen in HTC Task manager... when you click on it, it pops up a list of all the running applications and you can close one or make it active... normally this would overlay on top of manila but when I was using it on your ROM it would hide manila, show a blank screen but popup the quickmenu just fine... It looked like the time from the taskbar was flashing in there too but I had that turned off... very strange.

I'll give things another go on your next release and play around a bit more.

Thanks!
