Well...I tried a hard reset, and its still broken.
I called Sprint customer service this morning, and my new phone will be on its way soon. Of course its on back order, so it won't get shipped out for about 10 days. Thank god for the on screen keyboard.
They wanted me to go to a Sprint repair center, but I explained that I am abotu a 2 hour drive from the nearest one, and the rep byp***** that step for me and went straight to sending me a new phone.
I am glad this whole process was made as painless as possible.
