In my reading thru this thread, there has been some debate as to if 4800 is the correct BAUD setting or not. Has this be resolved, and the correct setting is indeed 4800 ?
soft reset

it is spec'd at 4800 even though some people have results with a different baud rate... the thing to keep in mind is the chip is still running at 4800 even if they set the GPS Tool at something different....windows manages the baud unless you set it up manually
