WM Treos and WM Standard devices (Moto Q9c) are the most "phone like" of the WM world.

Side sliders not so much.

Palm has done a lot of unique tricks to the OS to make it more phone like, like reject calls with SMS, the green key brings up the caller history, easy access to the dial pad, hard keys for email, calendar, etc.

I prefer it to other WM devices, but it really depends on your needs and expectations.

Battery life is just like every WM device on the market: blah. It'll also depend on what you are running i.e. push email. I get though a day with 70% left easily.
