Your numbers are correct. The "missing" RAM is used by the phone and/or is locked on the device, unable for us to access it. Right now, running a custom ROM I have about 70mb free of RAM which is all I need to run my applications, get a custom ROM installed and you will love the change (I'm using Scott's VZW 3.0 Beta)
