When the phone is booting up (After a soft reset) it should display some diagnostic information in red lettering on the boot screen... For example on my Sprint 6700 when booting up it is the center line of text on the right hand side of the bottom of the screen.
On another note, Upgraded my phone and it worked perfectly, No errors or anything, After the soft reset the change was noted on the diagnostic information that the upgrade worked. I noticed that I am getting better signal at my house, Which rox, But Im really waiting to go to my GF's house where normally I got barely any signal, Thats gonna be the real test...
