I happen to be someone who can define "good enough" and be happy with it. Consequently, I'm completely satisfied with my TP and all I've done is some key tweaks. 'Course my TP is a business tool and I don't even try to use it as an entertainment device, but that's another matter for another thread.

I love Juicy's new 4.5 ROM and I use mine as a serious business tool. My phone is BLAZING fast compared to right out of the box and it is every bit as stable, i.e. no freezing, no skipping a beat on anything at all.
Go Juicy, hell, go custom in general and you'll never GO BACK. The stock TP was so bloated with programs that don't even get used. Just for comparison sakes, if you remember when you got your phone at the store, the initialization of the device (customizations and everything) took closer to 10 min. With Juicy's Rom (I can't speak to the others but might flash a couple just to mess around with them) after a hard reset, the phone load takes about about 2 minutes if that.
To wrap this up, I too wondered why bother with a custom rom. I was quite hesitant but decided that if I didn't like it, if they didn't blow the stock rom out of the water, I'd just flash back. Let me say, NO FN WAY will I ever go back to that stock rom... UNLESS of course I turn my phone in for a warranty replacement.
