I bought a car charger on ebay for a razr for $3 and some change shipped, works fantastic, gives the phone 1000mah even though it says it's only rated for 500mah. I wouldn't worry too much about overcharging your battery as the actual management of charging happens in the phone's hardware, not the charger.
