It's already a feww days I applied this procedure and a noticed a VERY big improvement, and this without flashing or whatso ever.
I think, it's a personal opinion, that before looking for complicated solutions, you've got to try all the simpliest trick you can. After that, there are certainly others things to do to improve your TP's battery life, but that will be peenuts regarding this simple trick.
Just try it and you'll discover a really other machine...

My understanding was a registry entry was changed when you hard reset, telling the TP to charge the battery all the way.... So if I follow the above and do a restore with Sprite, will that registry entry be overwritten with the "old" value, thus negating the steps above?
