Like wow said, list your programs.

The idea is this: if it "runs all the time" e.g. in the background like phonealarm, treoalerts, email programs or it "auto-updates" then you want it in maim-memory.

If you just run them and "Exit" the app when done like say the Music ID program, then it's okay for the Storage Card.

Another tip: think if mid-day you popped out your storage card and threw it in the sewer. How screwed would your device be without it? Could your run your critical programs?
