yea, brendo is busy fighting spam, and the whole navizon team seems to be distracted with the other device types.. hope they come back to us ppcgeeks soon for an update.
First, you are running .netCF3.5 right?

I believe this is to update the location to the server for "real time" tracking, so if your running offline mode it is null. I leave it default

every time you toggle autostart to ON, it will place the shortcut.
could be a ver3.5.1.3 thing to I guess.

sounds like the phone hibernated. also I have better luck if I turn aGPS off.

you might be right (just tried but Navizon froze
![Brick wall](images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif)
and i'm teathered.) I shouldn't matter though as long as you've the premium version set to local database.

I don't remember why, but i've been using 3.5.1.2, it still freezes but not as much i think.
also check out
CamerAware Buddy, I saw this long ago, but never tried it. but
this fresh post has peaked my interest.

GPSID should ONLY be used to kill the WM6.1 GPS proxy when the GPS is entirely locked up and locks out other GPS programs. This only happened a lot in WM6.0, maybe NETCF 2.0, and on the HTC Kaiser. Otherwise, it should never be used.
I wrote it, so let me quote the user instructions again:
1. DO NOT HAVE Navizon running
2. Run CamerAware Buddy
3. select Navizon mode
4. hit Run (it will then start up Navizon)
5. Navizon will pop up its window, use it like normal
6. Stop Navizon
7. Quit CaB (it will kill the hanging Navizon process CaB started up PLUS releases the 1-2MB chunk of ram that Navizon is still holding on to)
I personally don't use CamerAware because it's more CPU intensive than Navizon, and that translates into heavier battery use and more heat -- neither of which I want with such a long-running power-intensive program.

(so its clear "CamerAware" and "CamerAware Buddy" are 2 separate apps.)
