It's not that hard to understand. 1) Autofocus is slow on the TP. Your LG either did not have it, or had a faster autofocus engine. 2) The camera application and processing engine on the TP is relatively slow. Your LG was probably faster, not the least reason for which is the resolution is lower. 3) The TP does not seem to do auto ISO, or does not do it as aggressively as other phones. This affords better image quality but at the cost of shutter speed. Slow shutter speeds do not freeze moving subjects.
