I do apologize for the retaliation but the response I received from this person was just flat out asshole out of the world. Helmi c and Luv2chill if you would please, please help me assess my troubles and to everyone else I do adamently apologize for barging in on this thread. I meant no disrespect to the moderators or to everyone else. I just need help in this matter. And by the way, I did what guru said and I don't even have a roaming selection; so, if anyone would be so kindly as to steer me in the right direction on this I would even be willing to send a small donation. Again, I do apologize and I do look forward to being in touch with any of you at the appropriate time and the appropriate thread. Thanks

You really should have started a new thread for this. That said, flash back to the complete Alltel ROM package (link:
http://www.utstarcom.com/pcd/downloa...11500_Ship.exe ). Allow the extrom to run completely and don't install any additional apps. Does your data connection work properly? If so then there's nothing wrong with your phone. If it does not then you should strongly suggest a hardware problem (or a network issue such as low signal or 1x/EV ping-pong) and should pursue additional troubleshooting or equipment replacement with Alltel.
Assuming you don't have that problem with the carrier ROM then you should try a different custom ROM--if only to rule out a problem with Saridnours. There are plenty to choose from--just look around the forum. In fact, CaptJager here on the forums has made a ROM just for Alltel users so try that one first. If that works properly for you then start re-installing your programs and settings one by one.
There's no magic bullet to this process. You have to basically use deduction to figure out where the problem lies.
If you wish to discuss this further, please create a new thread. People visiting this thread are doing to to read about the Bell Mobility 3.3 ROM, so this discussion isn't appropriate here. You'll get a much better response if you put your posts in the proper places.
Best of luck.
