On Friday, I had a rom on my TP where the audio from Skype went through the earpiece like a normal phone call instead of going through the external speaker. The problem is, I can't remember which rom I was using and what I did to get it to work.
It's a toss up between between the eRice kitchen, Juicy's 4.5 Rom, or Merdin's v1 Rom. I've reloaded all 3 of them and it hasn't worked again. It was the first time I had tried Skype on my TP and I thought maybe Skype programmers had figured out how to route the audio so I figured it didn't matter which rom I was running.
Does anyone know how to get it working again or has anyone else even experienced this?
I'd say this proves that is possible to find a solution to get the audio to go to the earpiece like a normal call.

Just loading Merdin's v2 rom now and will update this if it works though the earpiece.
