go back to the reg key for the taskmanager and point the custom texture file to the same darkgray.png you pointed to in the startmenu...
HKCU\Software\HTC\TaskManager\ManilaCustomTexture point to \WINDOWS\darkgray.png

I am trying to stay with my red theme and the parts in the manila that are red I colored but when using manila editor it would not let me convert it back to a manila file. I have attached my orgininal below. But I would like to know how to do this and find out what I was doing wrong.
