Some apps I can think of off the top of my head are iLauncher, Pocket + and Wisbar Advance. Of course these are all commercial software but they do some other things that may make it worth the price for some.

I can't think of any other freeware at the moment but I keep thinking I saw one before.

Anyway, your way is good too.
The Wisbar program is very good in my opinion. You can download Wisbar Lite so that you don't have to change the default look of your Mogul, but it changes the "x" button to a close button. it also keeps a "running tab" if you will, of all your open programs so you can go back and forth between them easily.

You can download a free trial from here :www.lakeridgesoftware.com

If you like it the lite program is only 5 bucks. A worthwile investment for me since i'm no good with all the registry editing and stuff.
