If only your home screen is changing with the wallpaper then you haven't installed the wallpaper4all pages cab program. check the 'show your today screen' thread for links to the programs needed to make your wallpaper of choice show on all tabs. There are certain steps to take in order.
install wallpaper4all v2
install sprint2flip clock
install any clock
install fix for slider and for calendar tab.

If you have a sprint phone you have to switch to the flip style clock to get wallpaer on all pages.
