Greets

I went with you mofotrucker. I flashed this ROM to my stock verizon phone and found it quite stable actually. The verizon autocustomizations ran after the flash and all appeared quite ok.

Helmi and others working on this: probably old news by now but I did some more experimenting with this ROM:

(all my testing used only the NBF file from UTSTAR not the BL upgrades)

I flashed back to my helmiR4 basic rom (just has verizon provison and ext-rom unlock) I cleared out my extended_rom2 and then flashed the same utstar release. The phone flashed without issue, and was well, quite sparse. But generally working. I could make calls, use the camera etc.

Direct push didnt work, even after I entered in the data network #777 stuff. So I then copied a few of the verizon cabs, the two provisions, the DST, and the OEM verizon MMS package. Then active sync allowed me to add my server source and correctly imported my Certificates.

That's where I am right now, and it's working pretty well. I have to say I really respect the work you and others are doing here. I tried to integrate UTSTAR rom into the R4 Kitchen, just by using the information I found in these forums.

I'm getting closer, my first round ended up with a helmi only 2.60 rom. My 2nd attempt (after correcting my nba decode issue) gave me the utstar version, but none of the OEM or Kitchen customizations. I wish I had more time to work with this stuff I'm optimistic about this Kitchen and want to thank Helmi_C, Colonel, Luv2chill et al working on this.

All my colleagues are super impressed with this process and are waiting on me to provide a nice stable release they can mess with!

Oh and thanks to the person who found the Bootloader deal, that saved me from making a nasty mistake!!

Thanks!
