Nevermind Colonel, I figured it out.
In case anyone else runs into this problem, just open up your favorite registry editor, browse to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing\Status and set "Enabled" from 0 to 1.
Who woulda thought that by messing around, i'd figure it out myself!!
