Sirius & XMonline quality etc

Some time ago I tried both and considered the sound quality to be terrible.

But, that was before rev A. I recently did a speedtest on my touch pro and got 500-600kbps

1. Quality:

Are the sound quality for online streams much better one vs the other??

(considering you have good reception on wireless broadband.)
(I read that even when Sirius's online service only went to 48kbps while xm was doing 64kbps it still sounded better and was more reliable <independant of internet connection> .) So just wondering how things may've changed.

2. Software:

I remember when I gave online sat radio a try it was on my apache, forgot which apps. Now it seems there are 2 wm apps people here use most being c-apisro & starplayr.

Can anyone who's used both say why they stayed with one over the other?

3. Channels/cost:

On Sirius's webpage their online service is $13 a month @ 128k with 64 channels (more then 20 of which are not music). With XMonline its hard to tell but guided from this page it can potentially be 113 channels for $8 a month @ 64kbps of what seems to be mostly music channels.

4. Tracks/sets/DJs:

The most important part. I still haven't heard from 1 person thats tried both traditional (non-internet) services and said sirius beats xmradios songs played, atleast for those of electronic or rap tastes (2 very different crowds).

Ultimate point in case atleast for me is even though sirius may have potentially better quality stream now, as far as club music is concerned, what I've heard through the wire is real crap next to how xm jams + this is not just my own opinion.

So I'd especially like to know if you prefer Sirius's music over XM's what is it that you listen to?
