Re: Battery life is a joke

jpeepers, thanks for the post. Sorry to hear about your troubles. Is there a PDA/phone that you've had that lasts through a day with the usage you mentioned?

I actually was happy with your comment: "If I turn off WiFi, Blue Tooth, don't surf the web, don't use exchange server, don't text, don't use GPS I'll get good battery life."........... If I do as you said, will I get good battery life (i.e. more than 1 day)???

I'm not a hard core user. I expect to turn the backlight down to the 2nd lowest setting and turn off WiFi (I've done this on all my prior PDA's--> otherwise I could not get a full day of use, even with bigger batteries than the Diamond's battery). I will only use internet for very short time. GPS only when I'm lost or need to find something. No e-mail. An hour or two of phone calls. Seems like I would last through the day. I'll give the Diamond a try. I was holding off because of the battery life "issues" and the reports of weak signal strength.
