Well I'd love to tell you with pictures but don't think my iSight can take macro focus pictures.

See on the top and the bottom of the skin, they have two pieces that makes almost like a zipper style clear plastic that connects the top and bottom part of the skin. You put the bottom on, then the top on with the phone slide open, then you align the slides together (the bottom slider lock "wraps" around the top slider lock) and it'll stay. However as you can see in the photos it does leave the middle exposed a bit.

Then again, this doesn't force the top and bottom part apart like those hard cases do so... but damage is already done with my first hard care from Sprint.

So far I like this case, flexible and easy to use.
