On my first one (10/16? I don't recall, first batch), I couldn't understand what anyone was saying, and the hardware button at the bottom was coming off so high it was getting caught on my pocket when pulling it out... that's more than a "minor" issue because it was going to be torn off at some point.
The hardware keyboard totally stopped working on my second one (10/16 again, or whatever the date was of the first one), and I've come to learn that it had major cell reception issues (which the first one also had). Apart from that, I was very pleased with my second one.
My current one (12/9) has the more dim, yellow screen, but the hardware keys at the bottom are totally perfect, and the back case fits MUCH better... it's very tight and doesn't squeak. It's a change in the case, not the phone, because I've tried both cases on and the old one squeaks while the new one does not. The screen yellow-ness seems to be going away, I'm letting it break in.
Relevent to the thread, my third one showed up after about a week and a half... The CS rep said it would be 1-2 days and it took about 10... No complaints beacuse I knew they were back ordered, and I got a brand new one! Not a reman, and the latest build group.
